Since its inception in 2019, Campus Legends® has evolved into Singapore’s premier inter-school esports tournament. Organised by the Singapore Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) and Esports Academy, this annual event is more than just a competition, it is a platform that engages, educates, and empowers youths to excel through esports.

A Platform for Aspiring Talent

Open to all Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) including universities, polytechnics, ITE colleges and junior colleges, Campus Legends® unites youths from across Singapore’s educational landscape. Participants gain hands-on experience, not only as competitors but also in roles such as broadcasting, production, live streaming, content creation and event management, reflecting the multifaceted nature of the esports industry.

Fostering Personal Growth and Career Development

Over the past 17 years, SCOGA has witnessed the profound impact of esports on youths, fostering a sense of identity, belonging, and social integration. Campus Legends® continues this legacy by instilling values such as discipline, teamwork, communication, resilience, and adaptability. Many participants have developed technical competencies that have paved the way for viable careers in various professional roles within the esports and gaming industry.

Recognised and Sanctioned

In 2024, Campus Legends® received official sanctioning from the Singapore Esports Association, the National Sports Association for esports under the Singapore National Olympic Committee, and Sport Singapore (SportSG), a government agency under the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). This recognition solidifies its status as the only official collegiate esports tournament in Singapore.

Expanding Horizons

To date, over six seasons have been conducted, with more than 3,000 student participants from 15 IHLs. Campus Legends has also expanded regionally to Southeast Asia in partnership with C2E4 Pte Ltd.
